ނިއު ސްޕެއިނަށް ސްޕެއިނުގެ ކިބައިން މިނިވަންކަން ލިބުމުން އެ ޤައުމުގެ ނަން ނިސްބަތްކުރާނީ އެ ޤައުމުގެ ވެރިރަށް ކަމުގައިވާ މެކްސިކޯ ސިޓީއަށް ކަމުގައި ކަނޑައެޅުނެވެ. އެހެން ކަމުން މެކްސިކޯގެ ނަން ނެގިފައިވަނީ މެކްސިކޯ ސިޓީއިންނެވެ. މެކްސިކޯ ސިޓީއަށް އެ ނަން ދެވިފައިވަނީ ނަހުއަތުލް ބަހުން ކަމަށް ބެލެވިފައިވެއެވެ. އެހެން ނަމަވެސް މި ބަހުގެ މާނައަކީ ކޮބައިކަމެއް ހޯދިފައެއް ނުވެއެވެ.

މެކްސިކޯގެ އުތުރުން އޮތީ ޔުނައިޓެޑް ސްޓޭޓްސް އޮފް އެމެރިކާއެވެ. ދެކުނުން އޮތީ ޕެސިފިކް ކަނޑެވެ. އިރު ދެކުނުގައި ގުއެޓަމާލާ އާއި ބެލީޒް އާއި ކެރީބިއަން ކަނޑެވެ. އިރުމަތީގައި އޮތީ ޚަލީޖު މެކްސިކޯއެވެ. މެކްސިކޯއަކީ އެމެރިކާ ބައްރުގައި ފަސްވަނައަށް އޮތް އެންމެ ބޮޑު ޤައުމެވެ. މުޅި ދުނިޔެއަށް ބަލާއިރު 15 ވަނައަށް އެންމެ ބޮޑު ޤައުމަކީ ވެސް މެކްސިކޯއެވެ.
ތާރީޚު[އުނިއިތުރު ގެންނަވާ]
މީގެ 9000 އަހަރު ކުރީއްސުރެ މެކްސިކޯގައި މީހުން ދިރިއުޅެން ފަށާފައިވާ ކަމަށް ތާރީޚީ ހޯދުންތަކުން ދައްކައެވެ. ޔޫރަޕުގެ މީހުން މެކްސިކޯއަށް އައިސްފައިވަނީ މެކްސިކޯގެ ޙަޤީޤީ ރަށްވެހީން އެތަނުގައި ދިރިއުޅެމުންދާތާ އެތައް އަހަރެއް ފަހުންނެވެ. ސެޕްޓެންބަރު 15، 1810 ގައި މެކްސިކޯއިން އެ ޤައުމުގެ މިނިވަންކަން އިޢުލާންކުރިއެވެ. މެކްސިކޯއަކީ މިނިވަން ޤައުމެއްގެ ގޮތުގައި ދުނިޔޭގެ ޤައުމުތަކުން ބަލައިގެންފައިވަނީ 27 ސެޕްޓެންބަރު 1821 ގައެވެ.
ޑެމޮގްރަފިކްސް[އުނިއިތުރު ގެންނަވާ]
މެކްސިކޯއަކީ އިސްޕޭނު ބަހުން ވާހަކަ ދައްކާ ޤައުމުތަކުގެ ތެރޭގައި އޮތް އެންމެ އާބާދީ ބޮޑު ޤައުމެވެ. އާބާދީގެ ގޮތުން މުޅި ދުނިޔޭގައި 11 ވަނައަށް އެންމެ ބޮޑު އާބާދީއެއް އޮތް ޤައުމަކީ ވެސް މެކްސިކޯއެވެ. މެކްސިކޯގެ އާބާދީގެ 60-80% އަކީ ޔޫރަޕުގެ މީހުންނާއި އެމެރިންޑިޔަނުންގެ މަސްހުނި ނަސްލެވެ. އެމެރިންޑިއަނުންގެ އާބާދީއަކީ 16-30% އެވެ. ދޮން މީހުންނަކީ މެކްސިކޯގެ އާބާދީގެ 9-16% އެވެ.
ސަގާފަތު[އުނިއިތުރު ގެންނަވާ]
މެކްސިކޯގެ ސަގާފަތަށް ވަނީ އެ ޤައުމުގައި ކުރީން ވެރިކަންކުރި އިސްޕެއިނުގެ ސަގާފަތުގެ އަސަރު ވަރަށް ބޮޑަށް ފޯރާފައެވެ. ހަމަ އެހެންމެ އަވަށްޓެރި ޔުނައިޓެޑް ސްޓޭޓްސް އޮފް އެމެރިކާގެ ސަގާފަތަށް އަންނަ ބަދަލުތަކުގެ އަސަރު ވެސް ވަރަށް ބޮޑަށް މެކްސިކޯގެ ސަގާފަތަށް ކުރަމުންދޭމެއެވެ.
އިޤްތިޞާދު[އުނިއިތުރު ގެންނަވާ]
އިޤްތިޞާދީ ގޮތުން ބަލާއިރު މެކްސިކޯއަކީ ދުނިޔޭގައި 12 ވަނައަށް އެންމެ ބޮޑު އިޤްތިޞާދެވެ. 1994 ވަނަ އަހަރު ޤައުމުގެ އިޤްތިޞާދަށް ކުރިމަތިވި މައްސަލަތަކަށް ފަހު މެކްސިކޯއިން ވަނީ އެމީހުންގެ އިޤްތިޞާދީ ކަންތައްތައް ހަރުދަނާކޮށްފައެވެ. މެކްސިކޯގެ ޖީ.ޑީ.ޕީ ޕަރކެޕިޓާ އަކީ 14534 ޑޮލަރެވެ.
ވޯލްޑް ޓުއަރިޒަމް އޮގަނައިޒޭޝަނުން ބުނާ ގޮތުގައި މެކްސިކޯއަކީ ފަތުރުވެރިކަމުގެ ގޮތުން ދުނިޔޭގައި ފާހަގަކޮށްލެވޭ މަންޒިލެކެވެ. މުޅި ލެޓިން އެމެރިކާއަށް ބަލާއިރު އެންމެ ފެންވަރު ރަނގަޅުކޮށް މަގު ހަދާފައިވާ ޤައުުމަކީ މެކްސިކޯއެވެ. މެކްސިކޯގެ ވަރަށް ގިނަ ޢަދަދެއްގެ މީހުންނަކީ އަވަށްޓެރި އެމެރިކާގައި ވަޒީފާ އަދާކުރާ މީހުންނެވެ.
